My interest in fitness increased after suffering stress fractures playing college basketball. Before getting hurt, I had a degree of interest in weightlifting because of how it made me look and feel as well as helping my performance on the court. As certain muscles started to stop functioning correctly and pain increased I sought treatment. Going through the rehab process helped to not only learn how the body works but also learn how to work the body. My experiences have shaped my training style to be not only beneficiary for aesthetics, but corrects improper movement, and helps to teach individuals how the body works in unison functionally and athletically.
